Clau Nader is an audio engineer, educator and researcher specialised in immersive sound design for film, TV, audio-visual media, advertising, and sonic art installations.

 

Their work has featured in numerous festivals in Europe, the USA, and Latin America. Clau is currently working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and PhD researcher at the Department of Theatre, Film, Television and Interactive Media of the University of York, and is a Doctoral Fellow at York’s Humanities Research Centre.

Clau is a social justice advocate and active member of Soundgirls.org, the Audio Engineering Society and the Yorkshire Sound Women Network empowering and supporting underrepresented groups in the audio and screen industries.
